So Today...

I was at Johnny's house and we were in the living room watching Up when there was a vigorous knock at the door. His little brother came running downstairs and answered it. He said it was for me and said it was the cops! I was like what the heck?! The first thing I thought was "my parents told me I could come over, they knew I was! I had permission, I swear!" Well I go out there and the officer was like "Are you Rachel?" to which I responded "Yes." He then asked if two guys came over to visit me and, puzzled, I said no. He went on to say there was a couple of boys running around jumping fences and they had said they were visiting Rachel! I told them how I had been in Johnny's house with him making food and watching movies for the past couple of hours and how no one had come to visit me, it wasn't even my house! He continued questioning me and assured me that "if I'm lying he'll know" (rolls eyes). He said he was going to get the boys and they were going to get it straightened out. So Johnny and I walk to the end of the drive way where there are two more cops just standing there. Just then another cop car drives past with two boys in the back seat and we hear them say "this one" and point to a house a few houses down. That's when we went back inside to continue watching our movie. About ten minutes later the cops come back and explain that the boys had been referring to a Rachel about three houses away. What a weird coincidence! It was kind of an interesting experience, and an annoying way to interrupt our movie! This was just more proof to my theory that things that never happen to anyone else happen to Johnny's family all the time, and it's now beginning to rub off on me!

Fair X2!

sunset from the ferris wheel

Johnny and I went to the fair for a second time but this time with his family for his brother's birthday. All the rides and games were only a dollar but we didn't really feel like riding any rides so we only rode 2 (we played games instead). We looked at the animals a little bit more this time and I was licked by a cow! After buying and devouring a bag of cotton candy, a caramel apple and an Icee we went back to his house for candy and cake!

our winnings (:

Ode to Quartknee!

Courtney is tall.
Her boobs are not small.
She has a brother named Jake.
They both live in Snowflake.
She has a nice face.
It's welcomed in any place.
She's not as dumb as she looks.
Her mom always cooks...good food.
She's often quite funny.
She makes a lot of money (at Ed's).
She likes to tease her hair.
She likes it when her body is bare...naked.
She has many horses.
She takes advanced courses...at school.
She has some big feet.
She's oh so neat!
She likes to eat bugs.
She gives long warm hugs...uninvitedly.
Even though she tends to fart...a lot (and it smells...bad),
I love her with all of my heart.

This one's for you, Honey Bunch! Muah!

Halloween!

Last Halloween Johnny had the idea of being Peter Pan for Halloween this year. Jokingly, I said I'd be Tinkerbell, assuming he'd never really want to wear tights as a costume. This year Halloween came rather quickly and, well, he was serious! We went on a venture for a green polo and green tights that were big enough to fit his massive legs! I made a green dress and bought wings. Both were pretty simple costumes and although it wasn't my first choice in costume (I wanted us to go as Danny and Sandy from Grease), they both turned out really cute and we had fun making them.
We ended up spending most of the night driving around looking for something to do. We went to the mall, hung out with some of Johnny's friends and watched parts of some scary movies. It wasn't very action packed but it was still fun and the people who saw us got a real kick out of our costumes.
My favorite part of my costume was all the glitter I used (it's hard to tell in the pictures). I was covered in it and I sprinkled some on the ground with every step I took. The passenger seat of Johnny's car is now covered in glitter as well. VERY manly. (:

Carlos (far right) was supposed to be a spaceship.

This Halloween also got the title of scariest Halloween ever, especially for Johnny. We had gone to Savers in the morning to pick up some last minute things for our costumes. While we were there Johnny received a phone call from his mother, who was in hysterics, saying his sister was in a bad car accident on the freeway. We rushed out of the store and he immediately took me and Karen home and drove to his house. I frantically texted him several times asking him to let me know what happened as soon as he found out. It took him a while to reply and when he finally did I was terrified to read that he was waiting in the ER and still knew nothing. As he found out more he told me she had been clipped by another car which sent her swerving straight into the concrete wall of the freeway. The car that hit her didn't stop. The front end of her car was completely smashed. When he told me this I had to try very hard not to assume the worst. Thankfully the only injuries she suffered were a fat lip and a broken wrist. She had given everyone a real scare but we were all relieved to know that she was okay.

AZ State Fair

Thursday Johnny and I went to the fair. We got wristbands for unlimited rides and I was nervous because I'm a big baby when it comes to rides. We ended up riding several rides that I had turned away from in terror in the past (including a few that went upside down! :O). It was pretty scary but I had a lot of fun. Along with the wristbands we got 50% off the gamers card which made it $10 for 40 tickets. In the end we spent $10 for one stuffed animal and Johnny got a lot better at throwing a ball into a bucket (we're also convinced that the guy let him win since we used all of our tickets on that one game)!
Johnny also volunteered for the hypnotist show. I was really excited because I had begged him to do it and originally he had said no. From the audience he appeared to be hypnotised but he claims he was just "going with it". We decided he wasn't relaxed enough to actually fall under. A few of the other volunteers seemed to really be out of it though, so I still believe it's possible! I guess I'll never know until I try it for myself!

I wish I would have taken more pictures! :(
