Cute Hat!

So ever since summer I've wanted one of those hats with the ear flaps and the puffy ball at the top. I wanted it to be purple, pink or turquoise. Well I was having trouble finding one! We went to First Friday and I thought for sure I'd be able to find one but every vendor that was selling them only had red and brown and such. I was being sad until this group of kids came by offering free hugs and the boy was wearing the cutest purple hat! "I love your hat! Where did you get it?!" I said to him. "Uh, I really don't know. Someone just put it on me!" Dang, I thought. A while later we saw this same kid and I said to him, "I've been looking for a hat like that but can't find one!" He replied, "Someone said something about my hat earlier...hey! It was you! Well, here!" And he took it off and gave it to me! Whooo!

So Fresh & Easy!

So we had the most amazing/creative/awesome/fun/fame-inducing idea ever. We wanted to make a music video at Fresh & Easy and put it on youtube and become the next internet sensation! Well, we made several clips that we planned to splice together and put a song behind until our dreams were crushed. A mean man cam and said, "Sorry girls, I know you're just having fun but you can't take pictures in the store." Jerk face! Too bad he didn't know it was a video and not a picture. Also, my personal belief is if the wanted people to comply to that rule they should put up a sign!

2010!

Rachel: We went to Snowflake this year for New Years. We spent the weekend at Courtney's house. Since she had just received her license weeks before, we were able to go wherever the heck we wanted! We drove to Showlow where we got Starbucks, went to Wal Mart and ate at Denny's (yes, we had a photoshoot). On New Years it was so beautiful. We went outside to act like hooligans and the ground was shimmering with a very thin layer of snow. It was a wonderful welcome for the new year.

Now from Karen's point of view: Denny's got a great surprise this new years. We left them a comment card stating all the little things we were displeased with. We discussed stench (the place reaked of ketchup!), cleanliness (Rachel could have choked on the paper in her water! And there was SALT, of all things, spread about the table!), and lighting (the insane glare coming from the window prevented us from having a good photoshoot!). On the other hand we did talk about the good things; "The food was fantan and the waitress was a sweetheart!" After we got back to Courtney's house she rushed off to work, leaving Rachel and me reading her thousands of outdated teen magazines. When she returned other family members came over and we had a blast playing board games until midnight. It was a good new years. (:

Because of annoying circumstances we haven't posted a blog in a while. Not to worry, we will be posting every blog we would have posted in the past few months; despite how late some of them may be.

Thanksgiving 2009

Rachel: So it's a little late but here is our Thanksgiving post. This year we went to Tucson and had a wonderful Pundt family Thanksgiving. We had a Thanksgiving photoshoot which, in my opinion, was the cutest one we've had yet! After pigging out on turkey and what not we bought hot chocolate and went to Burger King for some evening grub. Despite a large weight gain it was a very fun weekend (I've even gotten over the tragedy of our Black Friday shopping trip being denied due to mile long lines). Also, Courtney's smell wasn't that bad this year and I was actually able to give her a hug! Oh, the laughs we shared! Even in a hotel we managed to have a fun time (although we were hit on by a very not cute boy. Don't be alarmed, we had the strength to fight him off...with our stench! Ha.) Twas a great time, it really was. (:

Karen: This Thanksgiving we had a lot of fun. We did everything Rachel said and I had some troubles with the hotel vending machine! I put in a dollar and my candy got stuck so Rachel says "Put in another dollar and choose the same thing and it will give you 2!" I take her advice and put in another dollar but accidentally put the wrong number in! So I ended up with some oatmeal raisin bites I didn't want! I tried again and successfully put in the right number but Rachel was wrong and the darn thing only gave me one! So I spent 3 dollars on this stupid 50 cent bag of candy (which ended up being all hard when it was supposed to be chewey)! After that we brought the Beatles blanket Rachel stole from Johnny down to the lobby and snuggled up on the couch and talked for hours. Then mother came back and said "You girls shouldn't be down here! It's 11 o'clock! Go back to the room and go to bed!"
