I'd Just Like to Mention

How extremely LAME my school is.
Very few people dressed up for this rather easy homecoming week.
VERY easy actually; everything I wore (excluding what I wore for 50's day) came straight out of my very own closet! Come on people!

Anyway, it just makes me sad. Along with the fact that my yearbook page has turned out to be one of the hardest assignments I've been given this year. At a school of 2,500 people the best talent I have is a girl who can fit 14 olives in her mouth (it was between that and about 8 people who said they can roll their tongue and about 6 who said they crack their knuckles; seriously?!). I guess I'm just going to have to face the fact that I go to a school full of non-spirited, non-talented lame-Os (although I'm willing to bet that's not the case and people are either too embarrassed or too shy to reveal their gifts)!

Well I had fun dressing up every day this week and I would have enjoyed seeing more people participate as well. I didn't wear school colors today though, even though that was the theme for Friday (yes, I too see the hypocrisy of my above rant). However, Johnny and I unintentionally matched pretty perfectly today which I thought was very cute. (:

Today.

I've started a new book, 'My Sisters Keeper'. I'm on page 27 and I already recommend it. Also today I had blood drawn for the first time. EEK! But it was pretty cool to see how quickly your blood squirts out! It hurt a little but I was a big girl and didn't even cry! :p

Recently I've discovered a new website. Stupid.com. Everything they sell is just stupid! Who comes up with that stuff? I found this item quite hilarious:

I know where I'm doing my Christmas shopping!

P.S. If you have never visited the site you should-->> http://www.stupid.com/

I have a challenge for you; tell me an interesting story about your day. I want to know what happened to you today. (:

Thought of the Day: Our First Post

On Spring break people have wet t-shirt contests, so on Fall break do people have warmest sweater contests?

Today is the last day of Fall break (before the weekend). This week was spent laying around the house, as usual, and went by way too fast. We're not ready to go back to school after this long-awaited break! Tonight we had an attempt at a photo shoot all natural (no makeup or hair product!). Dad had to invade and break the only rule we have right off the bat!

This is a strict RACHEL AND KAREN ONLY website, please do your best to ignore the man in the blue shirt. xD
